Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small community located on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. People who don't understand they mistakenly believe it is the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually it is this is not the case. The West Island is frequently referred to as the location of birth of Amanda Brugel but while that may be true, her time there was not long. Brugel lived in Courtice located just outside of Oshawa. She wanted to become a professional dancer, but due to an explosive increase in her height, she outgrew all of her dancing partners. The Toronto Star article revealed she's 6ft 1in tall in heels. As I got bigger than my male dancers, I decided to quit. Former dancers often turn into acting. In the case of Brugel, it was the result of a recommendation from her teacher of drama. She was encouraged to try out for roles in the school's production. She auditioned and was cast in the role of Anne of Green Gables. After receiving the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. Brugel's career spans over twenty years, and she's appeared in 60 different productions that have screened on large screens as well as smaller screens. The most well-known role she played was as Rita (pictured in the below photo) in the television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel played the role of Rita in The Handmaid's Tale the series filming over 10 years ago.
